Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Milner, Inc. is an office technology company that enables organizations to meet the challenges of today and into the future. Milner’s experience and focus drives our innovation. From IT support to print devices, we offer a trusted suite of technology solutions comprised of ofﬁce equipment, network and security services, and document/workflow management. Milner focuses on incorporating technology, process, and people, so you can focus on your expertise - building a stronger organization.
2. Why is it important to partner with the community, specifically Meadowcreek High School, and what does this partnership mean to you?
As a technology company, Milner is always looking forward in anticipation of future needs and ways we can better assist our clients. Partnering with Meadowcreek HS enables Milner to have a role in developing the workforce of the future. Providing students with an opportunity to learn in the ‘working world’ as they gain industry certifications, provides Milner with a future workforce that is equipped for a seamless transition from student to professional.
3. What do you most value about the partnership?
Without question, the vision of Meadowcreek’s staff brings tremendous value to the partnership. Maintaining our customers’ environments requires employees who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, computer skills, basic business knowledge, and integrity. Meadowcreek’s curriculum and student aptitudes provides candidates with these skills and values.
4. Why is it important for you to partner with the community, specifically Meadowcreek High School?
Milner partners with other private educational institutions to train and attract employees. Meadowcreek stood out to Milner as a high school with the foresight and persuasiveness to leverage the community and its business’ leaders to broaden a student’s knowledge. The vision of the Meadowcreek leadership has opened new avenues for students to have fulfilling careers with financial stability after graduation. Together, we are investing in young people, our most important future asset, to insure the future workforce and our communities will prosper for years to come.

Vulcan Materials Company is the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates—primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel—and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials, including asphalt and ready-mixed concrete. Originally Birmingham Slag, we began operations in 1909 and became Vulcan Materials Company in 1956 with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. On a fundamental level, we do that through managing funds held in trust, donated by individuals, organizations, and businesses. Most funds are donor-advised funds, similar to savings accounts. These funds are pooled for investment purposes and their income is used to make grants for a wide variety of charitable purposes.
